Clermont Guest House - Pet Friendly

Maybe okay for younger families, but not suitable for older travellers Positive: Good central location in Clermont with off the road parking. Very clean house and well equipped kitchen With many bedrooms, would suit a large family. Sparkling Swimming pool Negative: Not suitable for older travelers, one with mobility problems, who found stairs up to house. very difficult Also, she was not able to use a the one shower over a bath with no rails to balance We also wondered how a family would cope with the one open shared bathroom that provided very little privacy. Only one separate toilet, a family could have issues Many loose carpets - very "trippable" for older people

Disappointing Positive: The unit is Located in a converted car garage in suburban Clermont. Bed was comfy and the shower was good. Negative: The hard,cold concrete floor in the apartment We couldn’t get the television to work,it kept scanning for channels. The wifi ran out after 20 minutes and we ended up going to bed at 8pm.

My husband, Zip the dog and I recently had the pleasure of staying 2 nights at The Guest House in Clermont. We can thoroughly recommend this lovely little place if you wish to spend time in the Clermont region where there is so much to explore. Parking is spacious and right at the front door and our hosts have thought of everything needed for a very comfortable stay - beautiful quality linen, excellent cooking facilities, the fridge generously stocked, a big TV (where we were able to cheer the Maroons to a win in Perth!!) There is even a safe yard for the dog to have a run - thanks to you both for your hospitality. Best wishes for the arrival of many more happy travellers.

After spending a couple of nights in less than comfy accommodation whilst travelling, we found this little beauty in Clermont. Spotless, quiet, modern, comfortable and wonderful hosts. Fabulous shower and streaming services thrown in. Don't go past it.

Very convenient and private. Clean with good amenities. Joseph introduced himself as we came “home” at the same time one evening. Otherwise we were left to our own devices knowing if we needed anything he was right next door. Would certainly stay again

Overall a very positive experience Positive: Very peaceful location and everything you could possibly need tucked away in a spacious guest house. Plenty of space for you and your fur babies 🙂 Negative: I couldn't have asked for a better stay on clermont 🙂 would stop here again if ever passing through!

Wonderful Positive: Everything was perfect, great communication with our friendly and helpful host Joe. We had a great sleep in the comfortable bed, the room was nice and quiet. The spotless bathroom was huge. If you want to eat, it was fully equipped with everything you might need. A big TV with streaming channels including Netflix. Would definitely stay again ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Relaxing, comfortable and very good value. Positive: Very clean. Good facilities. Generous and thoughtful provision of soft drinks, tea/coffee etc. Much appreciated after long journey. Nice quiet spot with lots of good walks for people and dogs.

Great for the dogs, and great for someone on their own. Positive: The bathroom is very nice, and the whole room is well renovated. Negative: The air con was a little testy but I called and he explained its quirks.

Booked accommodation on short notice. Joe and Kate were great helping us out. We found the studio apartment very comfortable and relaxing for us and our dog. Great night sleep for all. Will definitely be stay again on our travel.

This place was a breath of fresh air, clean spacious and able to put our car right at the door, but separate from the house, i.e. its own entrance. Couldn't fault it, nicely decorated, no stairs, best accommodation on our 2500 Km drive. A quiet safe neighbourhood. As we drive Syd to Port Douglas twice a year, we shall always stay here again. Also good value! !

A really lovely, spacious and clean room. Large bathroom and little kitchenette which came with free lemonade, water, milk, tea and coffee which was nice. There was a coffee machine, kettle, plug-in hob, microwave, plates and cutlery and a saucepan. The bed was comfy and it was so nice to be able to lie down in bed and watch Apple TV, plus other streaming services like Disney plus. Would 100% stay here again, thank you!

The online payment process was efficient, and I received an invoice and receipt on the same day. 2. Exceptional Customer Service Upon check-in, I was warmly greeted by Kate, followed by Joseph. The self-check-in procedure was clearly explained in the email, making it easy to navigate. I appreciated their approach of greeting me at check-in while respecting my privacy, which I found particularly valuable. 3. Comfortable bed, essential kitchen items, and spacious shower Inside the room, Kate and Joseph have successfully transformed what might be a small accommodation into a spacious environment, utilizing light paint effectively. The mattress provided excellent comfort, and the spacious shower was a remarkable feature, complemented by a high-quality rainfall showerhead. The kitchenette was well-equipped with essential items, including plates, bowls, cutlery, and dish-cleaning tools. One of my highlights was the large mug, which is ideal for my morning coffee. I felt as if I were in coffee heaven upon seeing it. A coffee machine with coffee pods was available, although I opted for cappuccino sachets due to time constraints. Instant coffee and tea options were also provided. 4. Cool and quality refreshments The refrigerator was thoughtfully stocked with cold refreshments to complement the warm weather, and I particularly appreciated the quality bottled water available. It also contained high-quality Australian milk, a pleasant surprise for me as a frequent traveler. This choice not only supports local farmers but also ensures a delightful flavor when paired with coffee. As I was only staying for one day, I did not wish to waste such quality milk. 5. Tranquility neighborhood and close proximity to local shops and lake I had the opportunity to dine outside, enjoying the tranquility of the neighborhood, where I also engaged in brief interactions with the neighbor's dogs, who greeted me enthusiastically from their side of the fence. This hidden gem is conveniently located near the lake, requiring only a 10-minute walk to reach local shops, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I was also fortunate enough to witness the sunrise at the lake Lagoona, a serene and illuminating experience. THANK YOU JOSEPH AND KATE!

After a long day driving the Clermont guest house was exactly what was needed. Joe and Kate were friendly and helpful. The perfect place to stay with your dog.

Positive: comfort, and location. Negative: front screen door was not lockable and big hole in screen at handle area.

This beautiful quiet area ,plenty of walking areas around the really quiet neighbourhood,felt like home so much with a beautiful bathroom and back yard for the puppy to run wild 😜. Highly recommend this place too any one

Very clean and convenient space with modern bathroom and comfortable bed. It is private and separate from the house. The kitchen area is small but has fridge, toaster, hot plate, microwave, pots and everything that you need to cook. There is a spot to sit outside and watch the birds. In the morning we went for a walk around Hood's Lagoon which is only a block away. A great place to stay.
